The Files
600 dpi comic book templates based on the dimensions and recommended scale of famous blueline art board. The grid is intended to help keep your eye focused correctly while drawing digitally, but can also be used as a lettering guide. Since there is no set lettering scale, we simply swap out the guideline interior.

The guidelines are staggered with a lighter set. These alternate lines can be used to offset some text, and also to manage the proportion of the letters within the guidelines.

Use the lower alternate bar for the H and A crossbeams, for instance. Use the upper alternate bar in order to create more space between lines. Regardless how you use the guidelines, aim for consistency.
If you’d like to swipe the lettering guidelines alone, it’s simple. Just grab the following PNG files and use in Krita as a pattern.
